Are you ready to help shape the future of travel and hospitality? CoralTree is seeking a Director of Finance to join our team at Everline Resort & Spa, nestled in the breathtaking Lake Tahoe region. Just 40 minutes from Reno, NV, our resort offers a true mountain-town lifestyle with world-class skiing, hiking, and outdoor adventures right outside your door (and of course, a free ski pass!). As the Director of Finance, you'll provide daily management of the accounting department, including payroll, income audit, accounts payable, and general ledger. You'll be responsible for reconciling and maintaining the integrity of the general ledger. In addition, you will assist with the preparation of accurate and timely financial reporting, including cash flow, and routinely provide financial support and analysis to leadership across the resort.
Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting practices, financial records, and timely financial reporting, using metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage resort financial planning, budgeting, and cash management.
- Maintain strong relationships with resort owners, ensuring timely reporting, quick responses, and participation in key meetings.
- Communicate with the HOA board on shared expenses and allocations.
- Lead the year-end audit process, including reconciliations, auditor coordination, and final approvals.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring proper financial oversight and communication with stakeholders.
- Oversee financial statement preparation, analyze variances, and engage department managers in the review process.
- Interpret financial results and recommend strategies for cost savings and profit improvement.
- Drive the annual budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Ensure budget compliance by reviewing appropriation requests before committing funds.
- Integrate development financial activity with operations for clear, timely reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- Hospitality background with 3 - 5 years experience with complex properties including food & beverage.
- Solution-oriented leader with previous supervisory experience required.
- Experience and confidence presenting to ownership.
- Experience working with HOAs and HOA boards.

Salary range: $165,000 – $180,000/yr. 30% bonus
