Overview:
This 10-week summer internship program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in the insurance industry. It provides challenging learning experiences that serve as a foundation for interns to explore their career choices and to develop professional skills. Working alongside some of the most talented members of the specialty insurance
industry, interns will gain relevant expertise in various aspects of the field, participate in
learning activities and receive ongoing feedback.
Role/Responsibilities:
● Assist in the enablement of business operations through applications, services, data, and information, ensuring alignment with overall technology and business strategies.
● Support the architecture team in implementing catalog solutions, including application catalog, service catalog, and interoperability blueprints for the company.
● Assist with data collection and Power BI dashboard development, including light
coding as needed.
● Collaborate with teams to understand application connections and develop real-time reports for the CIO.
● Conduct interviews with various stakeholders, capture data, and model it for reporting purposes.
● Assist in the enablement of business operations through applications, services, data, and information, ensuring alignment with overall technology and business strategies.

Qualification:
● Actively completing area of study in engineering, or relevant program.
● Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
● College level – current Junior or Senior student.
● Experience in Python and/or Java required.
● Exposure to Groovy preferred.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills.
● Entrepreneurial spirit along with the desire to be a continuous learner.
● Team player who collaborates effectively.
● Self-starter who can work independently and deal effectively with multiple
tasks/priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
The compensation for this role is $22 - $30 per hour.
