shop at one of our mills you’ll get the training and support from your team that you need to

What You’ll Do:
● Participates in the Safety Programs and proactively upholds the company’s Safety
Culture
● Gain knowledge about Steel Making processes through job shadowing and hands on
activities Intern will spend time in each job role throughout the department
● Works cross functionally under direction to improve manufacturing/department
processes
● Completes special projects as assigned by their manager, to include analysis and
change continuous improvement recommendations as requested
● Perform general labor to support operation requirements
● Perform minor repairs to keep buildings, grounds, and equipment in working order to
include: landscaping, painting and housekeeping
● Participates in team meetings and activities
● Performs other duties as assigned
● Plan, coordinate, and communicate with peers and supervisors daily to ensure safe
operations, preservation of company assets, environmental compliance, cost and
energy consciousness, and to promote the values of the people program
What You’ll Need:
● Ability to work an 8-hour schedule, which may require some evening or weekend
work
● Ability to work in extreme heat
● Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
● Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment required
● Ability to learn quickly and multitask required
● Ability to pay close attention to detail required
● Strong quality and results orientation with a proactive approach
● Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures
● Ability to work independently with moderate level of direction
● Critical thinking, strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail
● High sense of confidentiality
● Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional team and work effectively

● Strong written and verbal communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to
present to senior leaders

● Must meet the company’s attendance standards
● Ability to interact with coworkers and customers in a positive manner, follow

● Must be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, lift, kneel, squat, crawl and reach
● Ability to work overtime as necessary outside of normally scheduled shift with little or
no advance notification required, including weekends and holidays
● Must be at least 18 years old
● Good math skills required
● Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
