We're seeking a dynamic Director of Community Services to oversee residential, educational, and community-based programs supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across NYC.
In this leadership role, you’ll ensure high-quality, person-centered services, guide program teams, and collaborate across departments to improve lives and build inclusive communities.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead residential, vocational, and day services across multiple sites
- Supervise and support managers and frontline staff
- Ensure regulatory compliance, safety, and program quality
- Act as a key liaison with families, partners, and oversight agencies
- Support staff development, audits, and strategic initiatives
- Travel to program sites across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens
The ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's in human services or related field
- Experience in leadership supporting individuals with IDD
- Strong knowledge of OPWDD and NYC’s service landscape
- Excellent communication, organizational, and coaching skills
