Key Responsibilities

• Work with Group Sales and Catering Teams to plan and execute all events.
• Liaise with clients to ensure we’re meeting expectations. Plan all details of the event to ensure all events run smoothly to achieve client’s expectations. Enforce all contractual obligations with the client.
• Maximize sales by helping to sell/upgrade all facets of the resort.
• Organize, participate in site visits and post event meetings.
• Plan and execute all event logistics, including coordination with third party vendors.
• Collaborate with culinary team to assist in development, design and implementation of custom menus and special requests.
• Create and maintain all Banquet Event Orders, changes, and special requests.
• Facilitate BEO meetings. Provide copies to all pertinent departments.
• Provide specific directions and expectations to the banquets team.
• Participate and help to run banquet events to ensure the highest level of service.
• Be the on-site contact for clients to ensure their satisfaction with set up and event timing.
• Effective in resolving guest issues and concerns, through immediate solutions, by ensuring the highest customer service delivery and productivity levels.
• Help to program and maintain all menus and guest contact information in Delphi.
• Ensure all events are billed and closed out correctly, ensuring all payments have been collected.
• Stay up to date on trends in the catering industry for benchmarking.
• Be a visible leader in the operation, taking time to review operations, ensure food quality, and interact with guests and Team Members
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers.
• Ensure all safety and security protocols are monitored; staff is properly trained, routinely inspected, and adhered to daily.
• Develop and adhere to the annual budget, including payroll, expenses, and capital.
• Ensure operations run efficiently daily while managing long-term project planning.
• Enforce all applicable health department rules and regulations with safety as a priority.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  
  

Education, Skills And Experience

• 4 year degree or equivalent management experience working in the banquets & catering field.
• 4 years of Events Services experience in high-volume resort or catering venue as a manager.
• Resort opening experience is desired.
• Accounting proficiency required including monthly financials, audits, payroll, budgets, and forecasting.
• Attention to detail, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people.
• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter that can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Inspired to always lead Evermore brand and team member values.
• Capable of working scheduled hours, including weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays
• Capable of performing a variety of roles in a busy work environment
• Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines/instructions in English.
  
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and/or reach repeatedly.
• Able to safely lift, pull and push over 40 pounds.
• Able to be on your feet and move around for long periods at a time.
• Manual dexterity of hand to use all kitchen equipment.
