Evermore Orlando Resort is an innovative 1,100-acre resort adjacent to Walt Disney World® featuring centrally owned upscale and upsized vacation rental homes, flats & villas, a luxury Conrad hotel, 36 holes of world-class Jack Nicklaus golf, and a massive 20-acre tropical beach complex around Evermore Bay, our 8-acre crystalline water amenity by Crystal Lagoons®. The surrounding beach areas feature zero-entry swim areas, bars, cabanas, private firepits, a lively food hall & gourmet market, a casual dining restaurant, and an event Boathouse that will provide a picture-perfect backdrop for weddings, banquets, and corporate meetings. Position Summary: A fine dining host plays a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience to guests at our fine dining restaurant. They are responsible for creating a positive first impression, managing reservations, and ensuring that guests feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout their dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

· Create a welcoming and attentive atmosphere, engaging with guests, and addressing their needs. Anticipate when guests require additional service. Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, attentive, and professional manner.

· Provide recommendations on beverage selections and answer any questions about the menu.

· Handle guest complaints or concerns gracefully, seeking solutions to ensure a positive dining experience.

· Escort guess to their assigned tables and preset menus.

· Communicate with other staff members to accommodate guest preference.

· Efficiently manage table turnover to maximize restaurant seating.

· Answer phone calls and respond to reservation inquiries. Record reservations in OpenTable ensuring reservations are properly spaced and managed to accommodate the restaurant capacity.

· Menus can be extensive and may change frequently. Hosts must be well-versed in the menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods and any specials.

· Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations for all F&B outlets.

· Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth service.

· Collaborate with other staff to maintain a well-organized and efficient operation.

· Assist in training new staff, if required.

· Always maintain a clean and organized work area, including stocking and replenishing supplies.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Previous serving experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant is required.

· Excellent customer service and communication skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

· Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

· Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and basic math skills for handling payments.

· Food, alcohol, and safety certifications under FL requirements.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• Capable of performing the role in a busy work environment.
• Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines.

Physical Requirements

• Able to safely lift, pull and push up to 25 pounds.

• Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach.

• Subject to environmental conditions, work activities can occur inside and outside.
