Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
- Monitor stock levels in the food service area, including coolers, shelves, and display cases.
- Restock coolers, shelves, and display cases as needed to ensure products are readily available for guests.
- Rotate stock to minimize waste and ensure that older products are used first; remove, record, and dispose of expired or damaged product.
- Receive, inspect, and organize deliveries of food and beverage products.
- Maintain a clean and organized food service area and stock rooms to enhance the guest shopping experience.
- Assist with the restocking of Tricycles & Ice Cream Truck when necessary.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Follow all company and safety, sanitation, and security policies and procedures, and complete safety training and certifications.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
- Engage in a positive guest focused environment.
- All other duties as required.
Education, Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in food service or retail setting.
- Ability to lift or carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Food, alcohol, and safety certifications under FL requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people.
- Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
- Proficient in standard industry computer systems (POS, work order systems, inventory, etc.).
Physical Requirements
- Able to safely lift, pull and push up to 75 pounds.
- Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach.
- Subject to environmental conditions, work activities can occur inside and outside.
