We are actively seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join a growing team in the Auburn/Skaneateles area. This first-shift role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-precision environment and is looking to make an immediate impact in a mission-critical industry. You'll be responsible for programming CNC machinery to produce parts that meet stringent engineering specifications and quality certifications (ISO, customer-specific, etc.).
We’re looking for someone who brings strong blueprint-reading skills, a solid grasp of CNC setup and troubleshooting, and hands-on experience with machining complex parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Program CNC equipment (3, 4, and 5-axis and G Code) to meet engineering and customer requirements
- Perform machine setups and execute production runs for new and existing components
- Analyze blueprints and technical drawings to plan efficient machining operations
- Troubleshoot issues and optimize programs to ensure high-quality, efficient production
- Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and operations teams to streamline processes
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and elevate performance
- Assist with training and documentation for shop floor personnel
- Support startup and validation of new equipment
- Ensure all work complies with AS9100, ISO, MIL, and internal quality standards
- Maintain accurate programming documentation and equipment settings
What You’ll Bring
- High School Diploma; Associate’s degree or technical certification preferred
- 3–5 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in G-code, 3D modeling software, and technical drawing interpretation
- Familiarity with GD&T, Motion Control, and Vision Systems
- Solid troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving
- Understanding of CMM programming preferred
- A detail-oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work on-site M-F

Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
