Transportation Project & Change Management Lead
The Transportation Project & Change Management Lead will report into the Global Transportation Technology and Sr Manager and will have the following responsibilities:
Position Overview: Lead the deployment of digital infrastructure capabilities in Transportation through effective project and change management.
Key Responsibilities: Project Management:
- Define project goals and objectives.
- Develop project plans and schedules, and track milestones.
- Identify risks and manage resources to achieve project goals.
- Communicate progress to stakeholders and facilitate team meetings.
Change Management:
- Conduct change impact assessments and develop change management plans.
- Define change objectives and success criteria and establish communication strategies.
- Evaluate risks and guide the team through required milestones.
Workstream Coordination:
- Collaborate with the project leadership team on schedule and risk management to ensure timely delivery.
Partnership Engagement:
- Create and maintain project plans and schedules in collaboration with internal and external 3PL and 4PL partners.
Communication:
- Ensure effective communication regarding project schedules, risk management, and updates with key customers and partners.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or master’s degree is preferred
- A minimum of 4-6 years overall business experience is required, preferably with a focus in Transportation, E2E Supply Chain, Operations, Project Management, Information Technology, or other related areas required.
- Strong project management experience is required.
- Proven success working in a complex, highly matrixed, global organization with rapidly changing priorities and tight timelines is required
- Knowledge of the transportation industry and freight forwarding network is preferred
- Experience managing projects and system rollouts is preferred
- TMS (Transportation Management System), XPS, JIRA, API solutions, and/or related technology experience is desired.
We offer hourly W2 or C2C rates.
