What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2025 Summer Distributed Energy Resource Planning Intern position at Eversource Energy?
Coop/Intern candidates pursuing a degree in electrical engineering technology (ASET) or electrical engineer (BSEE) are welcomed to apply.This internship is with the Distributed Energy Resource (DER) Planning group responsible for the interconnection of DER projects to the Eversource electric distribution system in New Hampshire. Gathering of electric system data and DER data for review and evaluation and; determination of the DER project impact is a prime objective of DER Planning.
Successful candidates will primarily be involved with validating the company's NH distributed energy resource (DER) database (PowerClerk) to find missing data, provide input on gaps in data sources, and also confirming project statuses. Additionally, work with other groups to ensure job aids, other databases, and engineering documentation are updated as needed.
