2025 Summer IT Cybersecurity Intern

We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Cybersecurity Intern who is eager to learn about information security and cybersecurity practices in the Operational Technology (OT) domain. This intern will work closely with our cybersecurity team to assist in identifying and mitigating cybersecurity risks in our control centers and substations.The Cybersecurity Intern will have the chance to learn about, and get hands-on experience with, various aspects of cybersecurity, including role-based access controls, network security monitoring, vulnerability scanning, log collection frameworks, and endpoint detection and response.
Assisting in the implementation of security measures to protect computer systems, networks and data.
Learning to identify and analyze security alerts and incidents to quickly investigate root causes.
Assisting in the analysis of software systems for vulnerabilities and risks.
Monitoring system logs and identifying potential issues with security controls.
Assisting in the implementation of NERC CIP regulatory procedures and processes.
Assisting in the patching of vulnerabilities for security tools across the OT domain.
Helping to document diagrams, procedures, and regulatory evidence for audits.
Assisting in the creation, removal, and modification of users and groups in the OT domain.
Staying current on OT cybersecurity trends and news.
