What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fully Qualified Splicer/Cable Splicer position at EVERSOURCE?
THIS IS A FULLY QUALIFIED OPENING
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Individuals will perform any work in connection with the installation, operation, and maintenance of the underground and aerial cable systems.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma or the equivalent is required. The selected candidate must have successfully completed a progression program for Cable Splicers and be a Fully Qualified Splicer. In addition, the selected candidate must possess a valid motor vehicle license and be qualified to obtain or maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), and must live within 60 minutes of the reporting location for trouble call assignments.
The salary range for this position starts at $51.29 and progresses in accordance with the union contract. Candidates must successfully pass the CAST Test.
Bargaining unit employees under the TEAL contract will be given first consideration. In addition, this position is being posted internally and externally.
