Position Overview
We are looking for a seasoned and proactive Human Resources Manager to join our clients U.S. HR team. This role will work closely with local leadership and Group HR, overseeing key HR functions such as employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compliance, and workforce development. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic advisor, fostering a positive workplace culture while continuously enhancing HR processes to support business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate a positive and productive work environment by addressing employee concerns, conducting investigations, and resolving workplace conflicts in alignment with company policies and labor regulations.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, from job postings and candidate selection to hiring and onboarding, ensuring a seamless integration of new employees.
- Lead performance review processes, support goal setting, and provide guidance to managers on employee performance improvement plans.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including OSHA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and wage and hour regulations.
- Partner with corporate HR and leadership to oversee competitive compensation structures and benefits programs.
- Design and implement training initiatives to enhance employee skill sets, promote workplace safety, and develop leadership capabilities.
- Maintain accurate HR records, analyze workforce trends, and generate reports on key metrics such as turnover and absenteeism.
- Regularly update and enforce HR policies to align with company objectives and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with leadership to assess staffing needs, develop succession plans, and drive talent retention efforts.
- Work closely with safety teams to ensure the implementation and maintenance of effective workplace safety programs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5-10 years of HR management experience within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, labor relations, and HR best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience managing employee relations with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (ADP experience is a plus).
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
