Machine Set-Up Technician
Schedule : 4-day work week, Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts
Location : Cleveland
Pay : $20-$23 per hour
Job Description : We are seeking a Machine Set-Up Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will assist the production supervisor in maximizing production of quality products, on time and in a safe and cost-effective manner.
Essential Functions :
- Assist in training equipment operators and carton packers / box handlers.
- Perform timely and efficient equipment set-ups, changeovers, and start-ups to minimize production delays.
- Accurately report daily production, including labor and materials used.
- Assist with coordination, receiving, and inspection of production materials and supplies to minimize downtime and spoilage.
- Document and disposition defective materials.
- Assist in problem-solving to promote teamwork and cooperation.
- Promote facility, equipment, and employee safety.
- Assist in evaluating employee effectiveness and enforcing company policies.
