Location: Hartville, OH
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18 - $24 per hour
General Summary
The Receiving Clerk is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Receiving department, ensuring efficient receipt and processing of materials. This role involves managing incoming shipments, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining accurate records of inventory.
Responsibilities

• Perform data entry for all incoming materials into the system.
• Manage material flow to the shop floor to support production.
• Respond to departmental emails and correspondence promptly.
• Communicate with customers and vendors regarding incoming product shipments.
• Process returns to vendors as per established procedures.
• Print and match purchase orders with shipping receipts.
• Maintain daily records of received materials using 'daily sheets.'
• Offload trucks, verify delivery accuracy, and ensure proper documentation.
• Inspect and organize fittings and pipes, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Assist with yard cleanup and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain project-specific logs of piping valves received.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Excel and experience with data entry.
• Strong typing skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping/receiving or inventory control.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces.
• Comfortable working at elevated levels and using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Working Conditions

• Subject to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, including varying temperatures.
• May operate at elevated levels and in confined spaces.
• Occasional use of respirators, fall protection, and ear protection due to noise levels.

Salary : $18 - $24
