Position Summary
As a key member of Everstand's Marketing and Development team, the Marketing Manager leads the creation, execution, and optimization of strategic marketing initiatives. This role oversees multi-channel digital marketing and fundraising campaigns utilizing Everstand’s website, social media accounts, and e-mail marketing to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Additionally, the Marketing Manager is responsible for curating creative assets such as video, graphics, and written content to align with organizational goals around storytelling and impact reporting.
This position plays a pivotal role in driving community engagement through digital platforms and collaborating with local organizations and community partners. It requires a results-oriented professional with strong interpersonal skills, a flair for creativity, and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities. The Marketing Manager will also support event marketing, internal communications, and brand development to ensure consistent and impactful messaging across all touchpoints.
Essential Functions
· Model and act in accordance with Everstand’s core values of safety, empathy, relationships, and impact.

Essential Functions – Content Creation (40%)
· Develop multimedia content (videos, graphics, blog posts) to showcase Everstand’s purpose and impact.
· Write and publish case studies and testimonials highlighting Everstand’s success stories.
· With the support of an external graphic designer, oversee the creation of branded templates for presentations, proposals, and reports.
· With the support of an external graphic designer, oversee the creation of event promotional materials, such as flyers and invitations.
· Create visually engaging infographics to communicate data and insights.
· Maintain and grow a library of reusable creative assets, including photos, videos, and graphics.
· Regularly update and maintain Everstand’s website with fresh content and updates.
Essential Functions – Digital Engagement (20%)
· Manage and maintain social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) with engaging and strategic content.
· Create and maintain the editorial calendar for social media and digital marketing efforts.
· Oversee logistics for event marketing aspects, including photography and video coverage.
· Develop and execute paid social media campaigns to promote events and initiatives.
· Monitor and respond to social media comments and direct messages to foster community engagement.
· Research and implement new social media trends to enhance digital presence.
Essential Functions – Communications (20%)
· Draft, proofread, and edit the twice-monthly CEO Newsletter (internal communication).
· Develop and implement strategies to amplify Everstand’s thought leadership, including publishing articles and support speaking engagements.
· Create a “brand story” playbook to ensure consistent messaging across stakeholders.
· Assist in preparing presentation materials for leadership’s speaking engagements and external events.
Essential Functions – Branding Promotions (20%)
· Manage Everstand’s online storefront for promotional items, print collateral, and stationery.
· Execute internal branding projects (e.g., lobbies, conference rooms, waiting rooms).
· Obtain quotes and bids for printing and promotional needs to support branding efforts.
Non-Essential Functions
· Support a wide variety of events, including staff appreciation, client-facing events, signature events, and other fundraisers.
· Support the Senior Director of Marketing and Development on the implementation of team initiatives and KPI’s as they support the organization’s long-term strategy.
· Participate in annual budget development process for the Marketing and Development team.
· Participate, as requested, on accreditation efforts as well as other internal workgroups.
· Assist in orienting new employees to Everstand as needed.

Required Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
· 3 years of relevant non-profit marketing experience.
· At least one year of website management experience, WordPress strongly preferred.
· At least one year of CRM experience, Raiser’s Edge NXT strongly preferred.
· Computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite, Asana, and Microsoft Teams.
· Ability to pass a criminal background check.
· Ability to demonstrate the possession of a valid driver’s license prior to employment and the ability to maintain the license and operate a motor vehicle thereafter.
· Ability to pass CPS/UII background check both prior to employment and per the schedule outlined by HR thereafter.
· Ability to pass a Tuberculosis Test both prior to employment and per the schedule outlined by HR thereafter.
· Ability to pass a work-readiness physical performed by a certified medical professional both prior to employment and per the schedule outlined by HR thereafter.
· Ability to pass a Federal and State Fingerprinting Background Check both prior to employment and per the schedule outlined by HR thereafter.

Position Type/Hours
This is a full-time position based on our Baltimore Campus. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position is eligible to participate in Everstand’s flex schedule policy, with once-weekly telecommuting privileges, and is considered non-essential for any weather or other office closing events. Due to the nature of Development work, this position may sometimes require work outside normal business hours. Travel is required on at least a weekly basis. A company vehicle will be provided as needed.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The Everstand is a live residential and educational environment. Therefore, employees may experience conditions in which challenging behavior can be exhibited by program participants. This may include but is not limited to, physical agitation, physical violence, and/or emotional outbursts.

Salary : $72,000 - $102,960
