The Impact You Will Make
The role of Director, Large Sales will support the field with creating opportunities for large sales and tracking large sales across the company. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, this role will focus on business-to-business sales, creating company wide strategies for large sale management, and project management of large sales. Primary responsibilities will be actively presenting and closing large sales in coordination with our field sales teams and working closely with internal departments on pricing and merchandising execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Directs design and execution of the company’s large sale strategy.
- Clearly define the goals and objectives of large sales pipeline; identifying the resources and constraints that will impact the program’s success.
- Oversees the large sales presentation materials and price lists.
- Monitors the life cycle of large sales from sale to paid in threshold, delivery and recognition of revenue.
- Collaborating with internal pricing team, directs development of automated monitoring strategies to track pricing and inventory metrics and revenue performance trends
- Develop a scalable and detailed project plan that can be utilized in large sales markets and will define how large sales targets will be achieved including tasks, timelines and resources required.
- Monitor the progress of large sales and support the field to make necessary adjustments to ensure the sale stays on track and goals are met.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on the progress of the sales pipeline, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact the success of open deals.
- Meet and exceed revenue targets established by the Executive Team.
- Develop key relationships in high profile markets that will lead to large sale opportunities; transition those relationships to the local sales team for conversion.
- Ensure large sale customer experiences are consistent and represent Everstory brand and service values.
- Uses data to create sales strategies and targets with insights and metrics.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in large sale business development with a proven track record of success.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cemetery Sales and/or Operations.
- Requires proficiency in death care products, services and systems.
- Possesses a thorough understanding of locations, available inventory, previous large sale history and existing partnerships.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and skilled in working with high-net value customers.
- Ability to support local teams in driving conversion of large sales.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Possesses empathy, discretion, and an understanding of the sensitive nature of our services. A commitment to maintaining the highest level of professionalism and respect in all interactions.
