Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments effectively to optimize clinic operations.
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry and managing correspondence.
- Utilize Meditech software for efficient management of patient information and scheduling.
- Support healthcare providers with necessary documentation and ensure proper intake of patient information.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of patient records as per HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with hospital staff to facilitate smooth communication and workflow within the facility.
Skills
- Proficiency in medical scheduling and understanding of hospital operations.
- Strong patient service skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
- Familiarity with medical terminology to effectively interact with healthcare professionals.
- Experience with 10 key typing for efficient data entry tasks.
- Knowledge of medical records management practices and procedures.

- Experience with Meditech or similar electronic health record systems is preferred.
