Job Summary
The Cargo Compliance and Training Supervisor ensures that all cargo handling and transportation processes adhere to legal, regulatory, and company standards. They oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of training programs for staff, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across all cargo operations. The role involves monitoring cargo operations, performing audits, developing, and conducting training curriculum, and facilitating best practices in air cargo operations.

Essential Functions:
- Ensure the cargo division is fully compliant with all FAA regulations (Part 121 & 135), DOT guidelines, TSA security requirements, and other applicable industry regulations.
- Monitor and assess operational practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies and maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and communicate these changes to the team.
- Conduct periodic audits of cargo operations to ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational guidelines and identify areas of improvement, working with relevant teams to implement corrective actions and best practices.
- Develop, implement and update training programs related to cargo operations, including hazardous materials handling, cargo loading/unloading, ramp services, and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement an Education Training Plan (to include Basic Indoctrination) for Cargo, Load Control and Line Facilities personnel, and conduct classroom training programs.
- Maintain comprehensive training records for all cargo and line facility personnel, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and guide leadership and training team members and provide mentoring and support to ensure the professional growth of team members.
- Assist in the investigation of incidents and discrepancies, and work to foster a culture of safety and compliance within the organization.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation, Business or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in cargo operations, compliance or safety within a Part 121 airline environment.
- Experience in developing and implementing training curricula and
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Ability to travel to accomplish compliance and training responsibilities.
- Ability to work on various shifts, including weekends to accomplish
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of employment, including file and record
- This role requires availability via personal cell phone during work hours to ensure effective communication for job-related tasks (e.g. emergency coordination, operational updates, or team communication).
