Job Summary:
Entry level position that works on a team to maintain a Level D full flight simulator and other flight training devices in accordance with 14 CFR Part 60 / AC 120-40 and Everts Air Cargo’s Simulator Quality Management System (SQMS) program. Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and modification of electronic, hydraulic, and computer systems to maintain the training devices.
Compensation: $25.00/hr DOE

Essential Functions:
- Perform preflight and post flight checks on designated training devices.
- Apply technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks detailed in the SQMS procedures.
- Assists in hardware and software analytical diagnosis and corrective maintenance on simulators and associated training devices.
- Assists with installs configuration changes, upgrades, or other modifications of equipment.
- Receives training in device systems and subsystems.
- Assists with executing simulator diagnostics and QTG tests to assess and monitor simulator performance.
- Perform housekeeping functions to maintain the simulators as required.
- Operate ground support equipment and perform hardware maintenance, as necessary.

The Physical requirements indicated below are examples of the physical aspects that this position must perform in conducting essential job functions.
- Ability to reach horizontally and vertically with arms. Sufficient dexterity to manipulate small objects and print or write legibly.
- Sufficient physical ability, strength, mobility, and stamina to lift, carry, push, or pull objects which may frequently exceed 70 pounds in a series of functional tests which clearly simulate the work environment.
- Physical ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Requires the ability to be sedentary for extended periods of time.
- Shall perceive the nature of sound, near and far vision, depth perception, providing oral information, the manual dexterity to operate business related equipment, and handle and work with various materials and objects are important aspects of this job.

Qualification Requirements:
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Comfortable with a flexible work schedule.
Desired Skills:
- Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology; or minimum of two (2) years’ experience in flight simulation maintenance.
- Familiar with simulator computer software.
