Responsibilities:On our team, you’ll constantly look for ways to implement database tuning and performance optimization. You’ll provide your client with peace of mind as you develop and contribute to policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the database. You’ll use technology and tools like Oracle and SQL to identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical database.
In this role, you’ll closely impact the Intelligence Community by turning data into meaningful information. With your technical experience, mentoring, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we’ll focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) or in a similar database management role
- Experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Experience with database design, schema development, and optimization techniques
- Experience with database backup and recovery techniques, including high availability configurations
- Experience with performance tuning tools, monitoring, and troubleshooting techniques
- Knowledge of database security practices, including user roles, access controls, and encryption
- Knowledge of cloud-based database platforms such as AWS RDS, or Azure SQL Database
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS Diploma or GED
Nice if You Have:
- 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) or in a similar database management role
- Bachelor’s degree
- Certifications in database technologies such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator, or Oracle DBA
