Job Description

We are seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to join our team. As a caregiver at Everwell Home Care, you will provide a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their homes and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
• Assist with medication reminders and ensure clients take their prescribed medications
• Monitor and report changes in the client's physical and emotional condition
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed
• Follow care plans and document services provided

Qualifications

• With experience working as a caregiver with dementia patients.
• Knowledge of dementia care techniques, including redirection, de-escalation, and memory support strategies.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Strong communication skills to interact with individuals experiencing memory loss, confusion, or agitation.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to provide compassionate care in a calm and reassuring manner.
• Ability to follow a structured care plan and report changes in behavior or health to family or supervisors.
• Comfortable with light housekeeping and mobility assistance, including transfers and fall prevention.
• Required CPR/First Aid Certification
