Delivery Driver/Shop Assistant: Part Time
We are looking to fill a part time position as a Delivery Driver with day time hours 2-3 days per week. Job entails pickups of fresh floral arrangements in our Downtown KC location, and delivering to customers across the KC Metro area.
Job Description:
-Daily pickup of our floral arrangements at our floral shop
-Assisting the floral designer in preparing notecards, bows, and loading of the arrangements into the vehicle
-Using our routing software to prepare your delivery route for the day
-Assisting in setting up/delivering/breaking down of weddings and events as needed
-Picking up flowers and supplies from our local wholesaler
-Shop assistance as needed between deliveries. Includes processing flowers, unboxing vases, accepting customer phone orders, watering plants, etc.
Qualifications:
-No previous floral experience necessary, just an awesome attitude. This job is perfect for energetic, quick thinkers who like variety and can problem solve in the moment.
-Valid Drivers License and Safe Driving History
-Must be comfortable driving your own reliable vehicle for deliveries. Ideally own a roomy vehicle such as SUV, Mini Van, or hatch back.
-Smart phone that can download our delivery routing software

Pay:
Base Pay starting from $16.50/per hour, plus tips, plus mileage reimbursement when driving your own vehicle.
