What are the responsibilities and job description for the Development Database Coordinator position at Every Home For Christ?
The Development Database Coordinator is responsible for all database maintenance, analysis, reporting, cleaning, and responding to all request for information as well as the general functioning of the department’s data management. In this role the Coordinator will also provide general support to the Advancement function during peak periods.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Every Home for Christ.
- Adheres to the Biblical standards of moral conduct, Every Home for Christ vision statement, Every Home for Christ statement of faith, Every Home for Christ’s Employee standards and policies, Every Home for Christ’s Covenant of Harmony and upholds Every Home for Christ’s ministry in prayer.
- Assist with gifts efforts by maintaining, and updating information on new and existing donor prospects as well as producing donor and prospect profiles.
- Create appeal packages for monthly mailings
- Routinely maintain, examine and clean current data records to ensure data accuracy to eliminate duplicate records, inconsistent data, to maintain overall database integrity and accuracy of data imported and committed in the database. Maximize the functionality of the donor database by identifying and implementing best practices to most effectively manage all stakeholder data
- Analyze contributions received through all giving mechanism and provide accurate reports to Development team, Chief Advancement Officer and CFO.
- Create and manage department CRM or BI dashboard for analysis, tracking metrics, fundraising and financial reporting.
- Continually review and optimize data management processes to improve methods, procedures, and policies.
- Assess, develop and maintain internal policies and procedures to ensure the quality and integrity of data.
- Develop and maintain standard queries and reports, including regular mailing lists
- Perform prospect research request and documentation.
- Stay up-to-date on system changes, improvements as well as development trends
- Continually review processes for improvements and automation
- Support Development during quarterly review, analysist and updating of Partner Engagement donor portfolios.
- Other functions as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Has an active and personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Attends/participates in a local church
- Education: Associate’s degree Business, International Business, Nonprofit Administration, or similar
- Experience: 3-5 years of donor database experience
- Has a passion to see people/organizations know and participate with the mission of Every Home for Christ
- Has a desire to see all people know Jesus
- Passionate about data and how it can help gain financial partners.
- Displays a high level of confidentiality.
- Has a high degree of integrity.
- Proven experience with Blackbaud or similar CRM
- Strong ability to learn systems quickly and apply knowledge accurately
- Demonstrate excellence in data, financial and donor stewardship
- Possesses high level of professionalism and communication – verbal/nonverbal.
- Provide excellent levels of customer service
- Ability to build strong working relationships, both internal and external to the organization
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
