The Temporary Executive Assistant (EA) will support the President/CEO in a temporary capacity until the end of September with the possibility of an extension. This role will focus on managing in-person administrative duties and providing support to the President/CEO, as well as coordinating with the Office of the President (OOTP) staff. The Temporary EA will work 5 hours per day, starting at 8 AM, and may require occasional travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Every Home for Christ.
  • Adheres to the Biblical standards of moral conduct, Every Home for Christ Christian Community Conduct, Every Home for Christ vision statement, Every Home for Christ statement of faith, Every Home for Christ’s Employee standards and policies, Every Home for Christ’s Covenant of Harmony, Enduring Foundations and upholds Every Home for Christ’s ministry in prayer.
  • Scheduling & Calendar Management:
    • Coordinate and manage the President/CEO’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and blocking time for known projects.
    • Document and maintain a scheduling SOP guide for reference by the OOTP.
  • Meeting Facilitation & Support:
    • Coordinate logistics for meetings, including working with hospitality on meeting space setups, food, and drinks.
    • Manage meeting invites and calendar updates.
    • Take meeting notes and track follow-up tasks as needed.
  • Office Management:
    • Oversee and maintain supplies for the Office of the President, including kitchen stock and running errands for necessary supplies.
  • General Administrative Support:
    • Provide general day-to-day support to the President/CEO, adapting to needs as they arise.
    • Assist with any ad-hoc administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations within the office.
  • Travel Support:
    • While most travel responsibilities will be handled by the current EA, the temporary EA may be required to coordinate travel logistics and itineraries if needed.

  • Has an active and personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Regularly attends/participates in a local church
  • Confidentiality & Discretion: High regard for confidentiality and the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • Servant Mindset: A heart for service, anticipating the needs of the President/CEO and acting proactively.
  • Administrative Mastery: Highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and create systems for consistent results.
  • Project Management Skills: Capable of light project management, including tracking tasks and ensuring follow-ups.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adjust and pivot based on the needs of the President/CEO.
  • Travel Willingness: Open to potential travel assignments as needed.
  • Strong spiritual life and commitment to Jesus Christ.
  • Firm believer in the power of the printed Gospel and the EHC methodology.
  • Unquestionable integrity and financial stewardship, all with Every Home for Christ’s best interest in mind
  • Excellent customer service skills with a servant’s heart – values people
  • Maintains high levels of confidentiality, not engaging in gossip
  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant
  • Holistic decision-making skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of organizational best practices
  • Expert with all Microsoft and Apple suites
  • Excellent customer service skills, strong verbal and non-verbal skills
  • Self-starter with strong problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Quick learner
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Works well in a team environment; is an asset to collaboration internally and externally
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to work well with others under tight deadlines, high quality standards and last-minute changes.

The position will remain open until filled.

Pay will depend on experience.

The position is part time temporary and is not eligible for benefits.
