Job Description:
Every Special Child is seeking an experienced and dedicated Early Childhood Education Specialist with a credential in Preschool Special Education (SPED) to join our team in Galt, CA. Candidates with Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Education Specialist credentials are also encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will oversee a classroom of 9 students with IEPs in a mainstream setting, ensuring the highest level of support and education.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of 9 students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Conduct IEP meetings, assessments, and ensure timely case management.
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.
Develop and implement specialized lesson plans tailored to the needs of each student.
Provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to special education.
Qualifications:
Valid ECE Education Specialist credential (Preschool SPED).
Open to candidates with Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Education Specialist credentials.
Experience with IEP development, assessments, and case management.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
