We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in Hermosa Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating young children and creating a nurturing learning environment.
Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the early childhood education curriculum
- Provide engaging activities to promote children's learning in areas such as math, literacy, and physical education
- Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to support children with special needs, including those with autism or hearing impairments
- Conduct standardized testing and assessments to track student progress
- Manage classroom activities and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and specialists to support early intervention strategies
Skills
- Candidate must have California ECSE Credential who also has the bridge credential.
- Candidates with Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Sev can also apply for another age groups
- Strong background in early childhood education principles and practices
- Experience working with children with diverse learning needs, including deaf education and autism spectrum disorders
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques to create a positive and structured learning environment
- Knowledge of literacy education strategies to enhance language development in young learners
