Job Description:
Every Special Child LLC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Gilroy, CA. This is a full-time position working with 9th and 10th-grade students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and providing direct instruction in a supportive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IEPs tailored to the specific needs of each student.
Provide differentiated instruction to accommodate various learning styles.
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.
Monitor and assess student progress, making necessary adjustments to instruction.
Maintain accurate records and provide regular progress reports.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe).
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Special Education or a related field.
Previous experience working with high school students with special needs is preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
