What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at EveryAge?
The Maintenance Technician provides assistance in maintaining the property, plant and equipment of the facility. This position maintains mechanical and electrical equipment in operable conditions. They respond to maintenance requests by Residents and Staff and perform several additional duties.
The Maintenance Tech constructs, repairs and maintains structures, such as, equipment, partitions and other parts of buildings, using hand and power tools according to written and oral instructions. They maintain interior and exterior of all buildings
Performs electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, plaster, repairs and plumbing tasks as directed.
Minimal Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Minimal Experience:
1. One year experience in a health care setting preferred.
2. One year experience as a maintenance technician.
Other Qualifications:
Valid driver's license, and ability to meet EveryAge's auto insurance carrier's standards for coverage.
Certifications in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, OSHA is a plus.
