EVeryday Care, LLC (EVC) is a care giving agency that offers everyday care for persons with disabilities and their families in the Suncoast Region, including Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Manatee counties. EVC was established in 2023 by owner Nicole Shutt to provide essential services to those in need.
Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Direct Support Professional at EVeryday Care LLC. The Direct Support Professional will be responsible for providing everyday care for individuals with intellectual disabilities, offering training, and utilizing interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and their families.
Qualifications
- Experience in Human Services and working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities
- Training skills to provide proper care and support
- Empathy, patience, and compassion in working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years if age
- Must posses a CPR & First Aid certification
- Must have a valid DL with a clean driving record
- Must have safe and reliable transportstion to take the consumer out into the community
