The Opportunity
Lose It! is looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and scale services that power our top-rated mobile apps. This role will report to the Senior Director of Infrastructure Engineering and work directly with product managers and fellow engineers to deliver efficient, durable, and well-architected experiences to our members. Key Responsibilities
- Improve the performance of the backend services that power our mobile application and make them more maintainable and scalable.
- Support front-end engineers in adding new features to mobile products.
- Respond to outages and determine root causes to prevent future ones.
- Resolve issues with support of teammates as part of an on-call rotation for production systems.
- Ensure work is scoped properly and executed in the best way possible.
