The Opportunity

Everyday Health Consumer is looking for a highly organized, creatively driven, experienced Director of Content Programs for The Well, our brand and content marketing studio located in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and wellness, experience in the digital space, and the ability to project manage in a fast-paced and demanding environment. The position reports to the Vice President, Programs.

The Director, Content Programs is responsible for overseeing the delivery of content marketing campaigns featuring a variety of formats, including articles, quizzes, videos, tools, interactives, and more. In this role, they will manage project timelines and deliverables; develop and maintain team processes; participate in creative direction and content development; collaborate internally with cross-functional teams such as Marketing Solutions, Creative Services, Strategic Account Managers, Sales, Product, and Editorial; interface externally with vendors, freelancers, and clients; and partner with other Everyday Health Group properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage processes for the successful creation and delivery of content marketing campaigns
  • Oversee project management system workflows, identifying efficiencies, troubleshooting issues, and training team members
  • Lead strategy and execution for new video and content series
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, editors, and video crews to produce compelling content in a variety of formats
  • Communicate with pharma and CPG clients to facilitate production of advertiser content
  • Contribute to team brainstorms on smart content solutions that generate revenue opportunities
  • Manage the development of new content products and tools, serving as the liaison between the content studio and UI/UX team
  • Monitor and optimize campaigns for performance
  • Direct the team in legal and finance processes and oversee budget tracking, invoicing, and vendor contracts
  • Support business initiatives and serve as a representative for the content marketing studio

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or PMP certification
  • 5 years project management and content development experience with a track record of success
  • Including video production experience
  • Proficient in web-based project management tools and dashboards
  • An understanding of media and experience working with agencies and clients
  • Experience working at a content studio
  • Experience with health and wellness digital content
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Note: The salary compensation for this role is $90,000 to $116,000. Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, as well as business and company performance."
