This Senior Accountant position is an opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join a dynamic business with high visibility and growth ambitions. Ziff Davis continues to grow and we are expanding our global accounting team. As a fast paced, dynamic, global team supporting a public company we are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Company's accounting activities.
As a Senior Accountant, you will participate in all activities related to full-cycle revenue accounting for several business units. This is a key position not only in the accounting department but in the operations of the company as well. The Senior Accountant will analyze financial data to identify issues and inconsistencies, assist in internal and external financial reporting and provide accounting guidance to operations.
This position will require the ability to drive change and contribute to automation initiatives of manual processes to produce consistent, timely and accurate invoices and reporting.
Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the preparation and execution of monthly and quarterly close deliverables, including preparation of journal entries with supporting documentation.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts as part of month end close cycle with focus on continuous improvement
- Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
- Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position / budget variance analysis
- Analyze financial information and drive month end support and documentation
- Liaison to internal and external auditors to support public company requirements
- Coordinate and prepare reports to provide management critical insights into the business and support data driven decision making.
- Support cross functional teams such as FP&A, Tax, Financial operations, Sales Operations, Internal audit and Legal
- Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Job Requirements and Experience :
Salary Disclosure : Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The base pay for this position ranges from $80,000 to $90,000, plus incentive compensation (for eligible roles only), 401K with company match, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, short and long-term disability, and a flexible time off policy.
