What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stamping Press Operator position at Everyday Technologies?
Everyday Technologies is looking for an experienced Stamping Press Operator for a First Shift position. The position will run and set up Progressive and Hand Transfer Stamping presses. Problem Solving Skills, Trouble Shooting, and an understanding over the overall manufacturing process of Metal forming is preferred. Pay Based on experience.
Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
Basic Functions:
- Set up jobs
- Manufacture per representative samples, templates, fixtures, prints, routers
- Perform in-process inspections
- Material handling
- Recording accurate production times
- Keep area clean and organized
- Train Press Operators
- Completing 8D Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Train others as required in qualified skills
- Follow all guidelines of ISO 14001:2015 system and involvement in continual improvement of the system
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to drive Tow Motor
- Team player
- Willingness to learn
- Knowledge of Press setup procedure
- Knowledge of press safety requirements
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to pull or push with 60 ft-lbs of force
- Must be able to grasp parts with hands
- Must be able to reach arms fully extended in front and perform work
- Must be able to raise arm above head and perform work
- Must be able to step up into tow motor
- Must be able to be on feet (standing, walking) for 8 hours continuously
- Must be able to climb stairs or ladder
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
