*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role is essential for maintaining a smooth operation at the front desk and ensuring that all patient interactions are handled with professionalism and care. *Duties* - Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing them with necessary information and assistance. - Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and confirm patient visits. - Perform insurance verification and collect medical payments as required. - Maintain accurate patient records, including care plans and medical histories. - Utilize software systems such as Eaglesoft and Epic for managing patient data and appointments. - Assist with clerical duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies. - Ensure the front desk area is organized, clean, and welcoming at all times. - Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate smooth operations within the office. *Qualifications* - Previous experience in a medical office or administrative support role is preferred. - Familiarity with medical terminology including ICD-9 coding is a plus. - Proficiency in using office software and electronic health record systems (Eaglesoft, Epic). - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally. - Experience in medical collections is advantageous but not required. - Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
