Associate General Dentist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires expertise in various dental procedures, a commitment to infection control, and a passion for patient care. The Dentist will work collaboratively with a team of dental professionals to deliver comprehensive oral health services.

Duties

• Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health and diagnose dental conditions.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, preventive, and surgical treatments.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in providing four-handed dentistry.
• Maintain accurate patient records using medical imaging and dental terminology.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry, including prosthodontics and oral surgery techniques.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to safeguard patient health.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Proficiency in infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
• Experience with medical imaging technologies is preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $255,823.00 per year

Expected hours: 4 – 8 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
