EVERYTOWN LAW seeks two talented and creative Paralegals or Legal Assistants - one to join our Second Amendment team in May / June and one to join our Affirmative Litigation team in July. The positions can be based out of New York City or Washington, D.C.

Everytown Law is part of Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund, the education, research, and litigation arm of the nation's leading gun violence prevention organization. We are the largest and most experienced team of impact litigators in the country dedicated to advocating in the courts for gun violence prevention-one of the most pressing issues of our time. Everytown Law engages in two primary areas of litigation :
- Affirmative litigation to seek accountability and reform of the gun industry's dangerous business practices, take on gun lobby-backed laws that conflict with constitutional protections, and enforce gun violence prevention laws.
- Defense of common-sense, life-saving gun laws against Second Amendment challenges in the wake of the Supreme Court's decisions in NYSRPA v. Bruen and United States v. Rahimi , under the umbrella of Everytown Center for the Defense of Gun Safety .
RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
These are full-time positions that can be based in either New York City or Washington, D.C. Currently our team works 3 days per week in office. The starting salary for these positions is $56,000-$60,000 per year depending on experience.
