Job Summary:
The Staffing Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the staffing functions for the Veterinary Technicians. Providing shift scheduling and administrative support.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Primary contact for all new and existing Clients
Maintaining a good relationship with any existing and new clients
Sending introductory emails- keeping report with the internal talent and making sure you receive the correct information from your recruiter to place them at their preferred setting.
Research of talents region based on the radius (distance they are open to travel) as well as any facilities they cannot work at
Troubleshoot any emerging conflicts between facilities and talent, remember to be impartial, but also an advocate for the talent if called for
Be informed about a talents employment requirements and benefits to be able to track them in a concise and organized manner (Example: shifts guaranteed per month, pay breakdown, bill requirements to maintain expected GP, PTO, CE reimbursement, and quarterly bonus eligibility)
Communicating regularly with updates regarding shifts requested and status of
Requesting new shifts on a routine basis and maintaining a spreadsheet of needs that can be used for both employees and contractors, as well as for recruiters in the search for more talent.
Will be a team player, open to doing the staffing manager position but also any other task as needed to accomplish a team goal with a positive, can-do attitude.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- This position requires a motivated, detail-oriented person that can follow through and finish all set goals
- 2 years of recruiting experience (healthcare background, experience with running a full desk preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Management, Communications, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration
- Strong organizational, leadership, and time management skills
- Must be comfortable making cold calls and emailing.
- Must be comfortable working in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with a growth mindset mentality
Education and Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience in staffing or recruitment management, with at least [X] years in a managerial role.
- Experience in developing and implementing staffing strategies and managing a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 10-15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
