Intern Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Enterprise IT Intern to join our team for the summer. This internship offers hands-on experience in IT asset management, data entry within Atlassian’s CMDB framework, and UI development using low-code/no-code tools. The intern will work closely with the CAB/Atlassian Administrator and collaborate with various IT teams to support critical projects.
The internship will be 10-weeks, 40-hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- C Enter and update a large volume of asset data into the appropriate Schema/Object Type/Objects within the CMDB.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise IT team to improve asset tracking and data accuracy.
- Assist in revamping the company website using the Refined tool, contributing creative and innovative design ideas.
- Work with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) to support IT service management initiatives.
- Enhance or modify existing scripts using Groovy or JavaScript as needed.
- Participate in team meetings, provide insights, and document findings.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Rising Senior pursuing a degree in computer science
- Programming Languages: Familiarity with Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Scripting & Development: Ability to build or improve scripts using Groovy/JavaScript.
- UI & Design: Understanding of web UI design using low-code/no-code tools.
- Collaboration Tools: Experience with project management tools like Atlassian.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability: Eagerness to learn new technologies and adjust to changing requirements.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
