Evidence-Based Associates is hosting a virtual career expo on February 28, 2025. The purpose of the event is to allow mental health professionals across NYC network, learn about models rooted in evidence-based approaches, leadership opportunities, and openings in New York.

Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Providing regularly scheduled supervision to all clinical staff members, including evaluations; Providing training through regular supervision; Ensuring appropriate supervision of all program Interns, either through direct supervision, or by overseeing the clinical supervision provided by the social worker
- Evaluating / assessing treatment and service plans; Running case conferences; May carry a caseload, and run specialized groups
- Active participant in the intake process for new referrals, and reviews client’s ongoing service plan ; Ensures that the clinical needs to the client are met
- Is a key staff resource for community outreach efforts and may perform such outreach and establish linkages with other groups, individuals or organizations which may be helpful to our clients
- Providing all necessary notes, progress notes, Risk Assessments, etc. as required.
- May cover for Director in his / her absence
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
A Master’s degree in Social Work, plus NY State Licensure (LCSW) is requiredA minimum of 5 years of related experience, including a minimum of 1 year of direct clinical supervision; Specialized experience with residential treatmentA current, valid clean Driver’s license is required for this positionMinimum Salary : $85,500

Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Provide weekly clinical supervision to behavioral health clinician and case managerTeach and monitor supervisee’s screening, assessment and monitoring of all safety related concerns with residentsEnsure that behavioral health clinician oversee provision of all counseling, therapy, medical, psychiatric and recreational for each residentCoordinates with the Fair Futures Coach re : vocational / educational, and housing services for each residentEnsure case managers are completing required home visits and face to face contacts with resourcesEnsure case managers and behavioral health clinicians are representing the agency professionally and responsibly at criminal and / or family court hearings and meetingMeet with assigned residents for weekly sessions, engage and remain in contact with their parents, ensure that home visits are completed.Provided and address any safety and risk concerns for each resident with staffAssist supervisees in engaging families in planning for services and complying with ACS outreach requirementsAssist supervisees as necessary, in identifying and providing access to specific concrete services and community resourcesAdvocate, as necessary, with external resources such as mental health providers, treatment facilities, FCLS, community members, etc on behalf of residentsAttend family court hearings when additional support is requestedAssist in the development and implementation of specialized groups related to the needs of residents and their familiesAttend conferences at ACS offices and other community-based meetings.Attend ACS / OCFS and trainings as required.Participates in internal and external continuous quality improvement projects.Make reports to State Central Registry or Justice Center as needed.Complete all other duties as needed and requestedParticipate in training and implementation of the Integrated Treatment Model (ITM)Team Process
Lead or co-lead, and attend all group supervisions, treatment team meetings, family treatment conferences, transfer conferences, incident review meetings, ITM planning meetings and administrative meetingsWork jointly with medical, DSPs, psychiatric and Fair Futures departments to ensure provision of services to residentsDocumentation
Teach, revise, and ensure accurate and timely completion of all clinical documents under the responsibility of clinical staff, including and not limited to, progress notes, treatment plans, transitional plans, safety plans, court updates, etc.Review and ensure completion of accurate and timely Family Assessment Service Plan Reports (FASP) and Permanency Hearing Reports (PHR)Ensure completion and review of agency internal Incident Reports in Alltrac system.Complete progress notes in CONNECTIONS and MyAvatar, as well as review those of supervisee’sMaintain weekly supervision notes and complete all supervisee’s evaluations in a timely fashionComplete ACS Connections monthly supervisory reviews for all residentsEDUCATIONAL / TRAINING REQUIRED (List all that is required to achieve this position) :
Licensed Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related field.Evening hours are required, on occasion.Additional Qualifications Needed :

MST Therapist (Bilingual)
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide direct clinical treatment using the MST treatment model and principles. Some principles include leveraging strengths and focusing on the positive, understanding sequences of behavior, and increasing mature behavior.Conduct a thorough assessment of the client and family : gather information on behaviors of concern and strengths in the family and their ecology to inform conceptualization of the problem behaviors and interactions within the family’s ecological context.Comfort working with a diverse community of clientsKnowledge of the types of families in the communityContinuously work to engage the primary caregiver, family members, supports, and community agency staff (school, outpatient mental health providers, residential case planners and line staff, child welfare, community stakeholders ) in change-oriented treatment.Dedicate time to weekly case planning and evaluation of case progress, with ongoing support from your supervisor and team members.Receive regular training, professional development, supervision, and consultation activities designed to help you acquire extensive clinical skills within the MST treatment model.Assure, along with fellow clinicians, that clients have access to 24 hours / day, 7 days / week support as needed.Qualifications
Master's degree in clinical or counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related subject area required . Eligibility for Professional Licensure in a behavioral health field is required. New master’s degree candidates are welcome with a limited permit.Spanish Language fluency requiredWillingness to travel throughout New York City required.
