What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Pastor position at Evident Life Church?
The Executive Pastor reports to the Senior Pastor of Evident Life Church and is empowered and responsible for executing the vision and values of Evident Life Church as presented by the Senior Pastor. This includes overseeing and managing all ministry, staff, and resources of the church; striving to expand and unify the church, while demonstrating a loving heart for the Evident Life Church congregation (the flock). This is an influential leadership role within the local church focused on developing others, discipling others, overseeing others, assessing others, and empowering others.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all ministry of Evident Life Church reflects and accomplishes the vision, mission, and purpose of the church.
- Hire, manage, and develop church staff and volunteers for the purpose of executing the vision of Evident Life Church.
- Maintain and grow a church culture that demonstrates and adheres to the values of Evident Life Church.
- Oversee strategic planning and annual budget processes.
- Oversee church operations and facilities.
- Review, create, and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective operation of the church.
- Qualify and serve as an Elder who is charged to be one of the spiritual overseers.
- Maintain open, honest, humble, and respectful communication and collaboration with the Senior Pastor.
BIBLICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Spirit-filled (Acts 6:3); Demonstrates Biblical wisdom (Ephesians 1:16-17, Proverbs 8:14-16); Operates in Biblical Submission and Honor (Ephesians 5:21); Conversations are full of grace and truth (Ephesians 4:15); Skilled at a rebuke and reproof (2 Timothy 4:2); A person of prayer (Colossians 4:2); Team builder (1 Corinthians 12:17-20, Hebrews 10:24-25); Forgiving and kind (Ephesians 4:32); Shepherd to God’s flock (1 Peter 5:2-4); Good at handling criticism (Proverbs 15:31-33); Demonstrates professionalism and poise (Titus 1:6-9).

Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
