What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Assembly Technician position at Evo America, LLC?
Evo America, LLC is looking for a Manufacturing Assembly Technician. This position performs assembly tasks including sub-assemblies, final production, product testing, and packaging for a line of cooking appliances while maintaining our brand's high-quality standards. Utilizes hand and power tools in a fast-paced production environment. Problem-solves individually or as part of a group as job duties require. Rotates throughout the assembly lines or into other positions within the team to meet production requirements for gas/electric/commercial/residential products, and/or small package assembly. Follows verbalized instructions from other team members, as well as photo and written directions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years assembly experience preferred but not necessary
- Ideal candidate will have the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
- Must possess good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
- Motivated to continuously improve and learn new skills
- The team member may be required to continuously stand, repetitively grasp, and use fine manipulation with the hands and frequently walk, bend, squat, or twist as well as repetitively push or pull
- It is essential to be able to frequently lift up to 20 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds without assistance throughout an 8-10 hour shift
- Must maintain a clean and orderly workspace and abide by safety requirements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
