Evo Catering in Palm Bay , FL is looking for restaurant/catering crew to join our team. We are located at 5070 Minton Road Nw Suite 1. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and hard-working. This is not a serving or bartending position. Please do not apply if you do not have any kitchen experience.
A little about us: We are a scratch kitchen and offer full service off site catering, weekly meal prep menus that change every week, delivery of catering or meal prep, and we have a restaurant that is open 6 days a week from 8am-6pm.
We are looking for self starters, who posess good customer service skills as well as basic kitchen knowledge.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine kitchen tasks.
- Follow the prep list created to plan duties.
- Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible.
- Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking.
- Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other meal prep.
- Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes..
- Prepare simple dishes, such as salads and plating meal prep entrees.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash.
- Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Work hours can vary with scheduled caterings.
