Role Description
This is a full-time ON-SITE ONLY (NO remote, NO hybrid options) role as an International Trip Support Specialist.
The role is responsible for:
- communicating with clients and vendors
- arranging, coordinating and controlling ground handling services, ground transportation, catering, hotel accommodations
- arranging overflight and landing permits, airport slots and PPR
- confirming fuel arrangements
- filing necessary forms for CBP, eAPIS, CANPASS, GAR, etc.
- loading, updating and maintaining trip in the Company's proprietary scheduling software
- maintaining Company databases, cooperating with other departments to achieve necessary goals
- providing expert level of support and consultation to Company's International Trip Support Services clients which operate non-scheduled business, charter, military or government flights in accordance with the aircraft types, preferences and schedules of the Operators
Required skills and qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent aviation experience
- Ability to provide great customer service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of world geography
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Detailed-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of Company and client information
- Strong technical knowledge to be able to use multiple software applications to perform the job
- At least 2 years of international aviation trip support experience is required
Candidates must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays (as the schedule dictates).
