The ideal candidate will work closely with Product Managers to ensure technical documentation is thorough and requirements are fully complete, helping to deliver innovative solutions for medical practices, consumers, and partners nationwide within our Evolus Digital ecosystem. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in documenting and refining product requirements, ensuring clarity across teams, and providing critical support to the Product Manager in managing the product development lifecycle. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business needs into clear documentation that guides successful product delivery. Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:
- Documentation & Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with Product Managers to document business and technical requirements in detail, ensuring that all stakeholder needs are captured.
- Assist in gathering and analyzing product requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Ensure that requirements are fully complete, clearly documented, and effectively communicated to engineering, marketing, and other relevant teams.
- Technical Documentation:
- Create, maintain, and organize technical documentation that supports ongoing product development efforts.
- Ensure all documentation is updated as changes occur during product development.
- Develop value stream mapping, process flows, use cases, and data mapping as needed for new features and products.
- Support Product Development:
- Partner with Product Managers during ideation and technical development phases to refine project scope and deliverables.
- Assist in translating product strategies into detailed requirements, specifications, and roadmaps.
- Work with engineers, designers, and marketing to ensure alignment and clarity on product features and functionality.
- Content Management for eCommerce and DOT com:
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date product and site information across all ecommerce and DOT com platforms.
- Catalog promotion management: Create promotional offers and ensure content accuracy per legal or compliance needs.
- Testing for accurate post content management
- Testing & Validation:
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by ensuring all requirements are tested and met before product releases.
- Collaborate with QA teams to validate that the delivered product matches documented requirements and business objectives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between product, engineering, and customer success teams to facilitate clear communication and issue resolution.
- Ensure alignment across departments by tracking changes and clarifications to the project scope and documentation.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Work with product managers and analytics teams to assist in tracking product performance metrics and gathering insights to support decision-making and ongoing product improvements.
Skills and Qualifications Required for this Dynamic Team Member:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably within a digital product or technology-driven environment.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear and actionable technical documentation.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with product management tools like JIRA and software development processes is a plus.
- Experience with wireframes and process flows is a plus

- Office Location - Newport Beach, CA. Hybrid schedule: M/F – remote; T/W/Th -onsite.
- Position reports directly to Executive Director, Digital Products
- Travel up to 10% may be required
Compensation & Total Rewards
The expected pay range for this position is $81,000 to $100,000. Your actual base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on a number of considerations, including but not limited to role-relevant knowledge and skills, experience, education, certifications, and more.
