Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (with occasional nights and weekends) Location: Hampton roads and surrounding areas
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and clean-up of job sites.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and lead workers.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with their tasks
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately.
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards work.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
