Evolution Credit Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Associate, Middle Office, that has worked in Middle Office or a similar operational role in financial services, credit administration, operations, insurance, or related fields, has a strong desire to work across the Firm in an entrepreneurial manner, possesses a deep interest in the credit markets, is able to communicate effectively in oral and written form, and will be able to contribute immediately to expanding the team's analytical, operational, marketing, and business development capabilities. This candidate will be an integral member of Evolution Credit Partners and will be responsible for managing the credit workflow from deal approval to deal exit with a focus on leveraged finance investments and other strategic activities in line with the F irm’s entrepreneurial nature and its growing credit platform. This role requires facing internal teams, trading counterparties, fund admins, and multiple service providers. In addition to routine maintenance activities, this candidate will also be responsible for analyzing and optimizing the company's operational and cash management processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance cash flow and liquidity.
The role will entail the following :
- Working on the full life cycle of leverage finance, working capital, and other structured credit transactions
- Primary process owner for leveraged finance workflows, which includes extensive interaction with agents, fund admin, and counterparty settlement teams
- Steward and adhere to trade close process to progress trades from Investment Committee approval to deal funding close and exit, working with deal, finance and back-office platform teams to complete workflow
- Reviewing and reconciling transaction activity for adherence to established controls and procedures
- Addressing and investigating trade breaks
- Primary process owner for managing outsourced service providers and loan maintenance activities, including amendments and reorgs and addressing funding and operational questions
- Monitor and report on credit facility use and routine funding activities
- Implement and manage liquidity management strategies to optimize cash flow, including monitoring cash balances, and forecasting cash needs on a regular basis
- Liaise with internal parties to support business development, risk management, and other reporting needs
- Identifying process gaps, develop solutions, and consistently look to drive efficiency improvements, which may include work on enhancing processes or implementing new ones to streamline and reduce support work around trades over time
