Position Overview:
Our Accounts Payable is responsible for all aspects of accounts payable invoicing. Individual will be ultimately responsible for processing payments, verifying invoices, and performing account reconciliations as needed.
Job Descriptions:
- Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices, coding expenses, obtaining necessary approvals, and entering data into the accounting system
- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting principles
- Work closely with the purchasing team to ensure that all purchase orders are processed in a timely manner and that invoices are matched to POs and receiving reports
- Record corporate credit card expenses, assist with corporate credit card reconciliation and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies
- Process reimbursements to employees by checks or ACH after verifying expense reports.
- Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, scheduling and preparing payments (ACH, checks, and wires)
- Reconciles processed payments through verification of entries and other supporting documents to balances.
- Maintain vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues timely
- Maintain all vendor records, obtaining W9 and updating existing data as needed
- Assist with month-end close
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must have at least 2 years of related experience
- Proficient computer skills, including Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be able to speak both Chinese and English
