We are looking for an experienced Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in the Cincinnati and surrounding areas to join our patient rehabilitation team and provide therapy services to patients in their primary residence. Qualifications
Responsibilities for Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Assist with developing patient treatment plans, including exercises, techniques, and methodologies.
- Evaluate patient’s health and wellness.
- Conduct tests and evaluations to measure patient’s mobility, emotional and social skills.
- Assess patient’s pain levels and reoccurring issues related to their injury.
- Assessing changes in the patient’s status since the last visit/treatment day.
- Advising and consulting with the family and/or other caregivers.
Qualifications for Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Proven record of providing patients with occupational therapy.
- Spatial reasoning and sensory acuity skills .
- Physical strength to handle patients.
- Ability to assess patient conditions and work with treatment plans.
- Experience with a wide range of patient age groups and injuries.
Experience and Education for Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Experience in providing physical therapy to patients in a residential setting or similar environment.
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license for the state of operation.
