Job Summary
A Line-Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking all food items, based on standardized recipes, for the Corporate HQ outlet, Banquets/Catering in meeting rooms, and Executive Lounge. The ideal candidate must maintain the highest standards to produce an appealing and appetizing product.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and work areas.
- Minimize waste and maximize cost/production ratio.
- Work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
- Convey information and ideas clearly.
- Evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Main duties include food preparation, kitchen cleaning, and inventory management.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Food Handlers Certification (must comply with State requirements).
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
